Lying: the big social problem in the today society

Along with different social harms and problems published continuously in various press and media, we have less considered the “lying”. Lying has played an important role causing many social harms.

There has been a lot of different lying in various aspects and social levels of micro and macro. Lying institutionalized in the society leads people even lie to themselves. It has been written a lot about virtues but in fact we do not believe in them; it has been merely stated in lectures and published in press demonstratively. We also speak and write about respecting to elderly and pioneers but they are in fact slogans and with our policies we practically marginalize them.
Domestic violence (against spouse, child or elderly) has been criticized, however there is a lot of verbal, non-verbal and emotional violence in the families and the society. In spite of pointing to meritocracy in specialized fields, the critiques are against organizations which do not allow us to be entered in the organizational power positions; however in similar situations we prioritize the devotion and friendship in selections and appointments but not the meritocracy (with an impartial view, there are also such these approaches in the social work!).
One or more non-specialized examples can help to clarify the matter. There are peoples who celebrate their purity while they reuse after drug withdrawal; unfortunately we have heard they are guide of associations like NA (Narcotics Anonymous). Rising the housing prices makes sad anyone while we, in Real States, are effective on rising the prices! and there is no plan for the families with low income and in financial difficulties.

Let’s think about the lying institutionalized in the families and all over the country. We should be afraid of it becomes epidemic. In my opinion, no disaster is bigger than a society with full of lie. Honesty, transparency, and purity are absent in our society. Lack of social honesty, this important component, leads to many social harms.
It is not strange that we result: “Honesty in speech and behavior is a basic and vital skill in our lives”; of course we do not have such this skill! A simple solution to manage the social crisis is to run a pervasive and national training plan concerning “honesty” from childhood to adulthood in different ways. Undoubtedly, the Education organization has a main role in imaginable process for national training.

By realizing this important skill, training of other basic social skills can be followed and operated such as courage and bravery. Access a desirable conditions of quantitative and qualitative levels of social honesty can lead to learn how to say “No” and “the health of interpersonal communication” and other skills.

The social honesty can lead to organizational health-oriented in different economic aspects. Increasing of social lying is the root of most economic problems.

In the end, the crisis of social lying which is epidemic today is more dangerous and destructive than Corona virus crisis and leads to irreparable cultural genocide and it is immedicable for years.
