Introduction
In an increasingly turbulent world where societies are constantly facing complex economic, environmental, and social crises, the concept of resilience has emerged as a key pillar of sustainable development and community empowerment. Despite the global emphasis on resilience, Iran lacked a dedicated, independent, and research-based media platform to explore and promote this vital concept—until now.
In 2023 (1402 in the Iranian calendar), Resilience Media Iran was launched as a specialized and independent media outlet with the vision of offering a clear, accurate, and culturally grounded perspective on resilience in the Iranian context.
Founder and Vision
Resilience Media Iran was founded by Dr. Javad Talaschi Yekta, a well-respected Iranian author, analyst, and social work activist. He established this platform in response to the growing confusion, redundancy, and inconsistency among various websites dealing with resilience in Iran.
The goal was to create a professional, insightful, and unified voice that addresses the multilayered challenges of Iranian society through the lens of resilience.
Why Resilience Media Matters
In recent years, resilience has evolved from a passive ability to “withstand hardship” into an active, proactive framework for preventing, managing, and recovering from crises. However, most Persian-language content in this domain has been superficial, repetitive, and heavily reliant on loosely translated foreign sources.
Resilience Media Iran aims to fill this void by providing original, research-driven, and locally relevant content that reflects the real needs of Iranian communities and professionals working in education, social work, healthcare, disaster response, and policymaking.
