In 2016 (the year 1395 in the Iranian calendar), coinciding with the launch of a major movement to establish the Organization of the Iranian Social Work System, the Iranian Social Workers Website operated under the title “Official Website of Iranian Social Workers.”
At the time, the Iranian Social Workers Association explicitly opposed this title, requesting the removal of the word “official.”
This pressure ultimately led to the name change to the “Iranian Social Workers Information Hub.” This event, while challenging, served as a crucial turning point on the path to the platform’s independence and self-reliance.
Today, the hub proudly demonstrates that it has continued its journey with strength and independence, without any ties to a specific organization.
