Abstract: This study aimed to investigate the relationship between internet addiction and domestic violence and emotional divorce among married women in Tehran Town. Research method is survey and the relationship between variables is correlational. This study is applied research and population included all married women in Tehran Town. The women who live with their husbands were selected by cluster sampling method. Tehran Town was divided to 5 central, northen, southern, eastern and western parts. By dividing sample size by 5, 80 persons were selected from each part and in each part, two regions were selected. In order to collect data, researcher was referred to their homes. The tools such as Gottman’s emotional divorce, Young’s internet addiction test and domestic violence against women survey were used to collect data. Descriptive and inferential statistics were used to analyze the data. The results showed that 46% of all the married women suffered emotional divorce and in terms of internet addiction, 64.9% of them were at normal level, 34.8% of them were at low level of addiction and only 0.2% of them at high level of addiction. Average internet addiction score of them was 41.73 and their median was 38.5. Also, the results showed that their average domestic divorce score was 17.36 and their median was 17.36. Its dimensions of mental, physical, sexual and economic violence were 11.87, 2.77, 186.38 and 1.33, respectively.
